just what I needed to connect an unusually large Farberware Portable Dishwasher to a standard threaded tap. The threaded hose assembly (not the adapter) leaks around itself when filled, but I believe this is a design feature of most portables. You'll have to experiment a bit with the thickness of the washers and use teflon tape if possible. In fact, I won't be needing this adapter anytime soon, having made the unwise purchase of a cheap plastic faucet assembly to upgrade to an all-metal threaded garden hose faucet.
