First of all, I'm anti-germ when it comes to bathrooms. I hate dirty bathrooms, shower curtains for some reason and always seem to struggle. The ones I've used in the past claimed to be washable, but after that they were never the same. Then one day I thought about using a view similar to hotels. Enter this curtain. I love it. A lot of. I love that I can wash it in warm or hot soapy water and it comes out brilliant white and smells fresh. I use a bit of Oxyclean with it alone and then don't have to bleach it (which would degrade the quality of the fabric and speed up its degradation). This curtain perfectly repels water and does not fly like plastic counterparts. I hated when the curtain touched me in the shower. This doesn't happen anymore. Hooray!
