The best thing about Notation Matrix is that it's web-based, so no software to install or set up. Also, you can easily customize the look of your templates. The search function is not as robust as I would like, but we're working on that. We recently implemented this system for our entire department at my work. It has been very easy to train users on how to use the system, and it has made creating patient charts much easier. When we first started using this system, there was some confusion around what information was needed to create the note. With training, this has all been ironed out. It has also allowed us to have one place where we can easily access all of our patients' medical records.
