Not compatible with HomeKit

I bought this fan for my parents for Christmas and have struggled with it ever since. If you're just looking at it as a dumb fan then I have no complaints but I would recommend finding something cheaper. If you are buying this because it claims HomeKit support, please upgrade to a different product. We had it completely installed by an electrician and after almost 3 hours of work on their side the smart functions were not working due to "wrong installation code". After a lengthy process with Hunter's customer service, they gave up trying to fix the problem and decided to send a replacement. A replacement has arrived and due to the fact that the smart controls are in the main body, you literally have to replace the entire fan except for the ceiling mount. This time I worked with my father on the installation which took a long time as we are not electricians or contractors. Once again, it works fine as a regular fan, but encountered the same "wrong install code" issue. Two of these HomeKit compatible fans don't work so I think they just throw this on the box to try to sell fans but don't really support those features. TLDR; If you're looking for a HomeKit-enabled fan, this fan is NOT for you.
