I installed this fan in my living room and wanted to connect to a smart home. Of course, the fan itself works fine. Am I going to install it again? Great fan that can be installed quickly and easily. I love that this is a smart fan and it can be controlled via my iPhone, remote control or Alexa. I haven't had much luck with Google because you have to say a few extra words for it to turn on, Alexa is a lot easier. The app is great and it's the main way to control the fan. The fan itself is fine for me (although I installed it in the bedroom and found it a bit noisy). It was very difficult for me to connect to my router. Integration with Alexa is poor. Alexa can turn the fan on and off. She can turn off the fan. I bought this fan because I wanted to connect it to my Apple HomeKit smart home network. Installation was fine. The fan works as advertised with the remote control. Before you spend $370 on this fan and then $350 on the installation, look online for reviews. Search for "hunter smart fan simpleconnect fan problems". Not sure how Revain managed to avoid 1 star reviews (as of April 2020) but this fan is a huge disappointment. Of course it works with the remote, but I'm paying for it to be "smart" and I, like many others, can't get the mind to work with any consistency or regularity. When I set it up with the Apple Homekit, toggling the fan speed doesn't work.
