Difficult but worth it
The "tools" got me incredibly frustrated, so I removed the old screen with a knife. Be sure to use a tiny screwdriver and unscrew all the screws on the edge where you need to push the digitizer through the impossible slot, once the 4 screws are removed you can lift the board a bit to thread it through and it will be yours make life a lot easier. This is the first time I've done something like this and I've done it, so you can too, it's definitely worth the money! It turned out great.
