I try not to use BPA on all kitchen items, especially when used with reheated food or over a long period of time e.g. B. when storing, come into contact. The Timemore French Press is made of glass and is encased in a plastic lid for added security. I liked this feature because I broke my old French press a few days ago. Even if this item falls and breaks, at least I'm less afraid of flying glass fragments, most of which will be in the container. Also, the glass jar is attached to the plastic lid with a silicone ring, reducing the risk of bumping the glass jar. The plastic case also helps you handle the item with hot content without a handle. It is also a good feature for easy storage and saves storage space. The listing mentions that all parts of the French Press are made from BPA-free material, but I didn't see that in the manual, which surprised me. The capacity of the French press is also rather small. I didn't pay much attention to it, so I'm just writing here. Overall, I liked the Timemore French Press.
