UPDATE: 1 year and 6 months in my pool and it only heats up to 74° and 75° I can still set the temperature on the device but it doesn't heat up to a higher level. When it worked, it held the temperature flawlessly at 77.5° +/- a tenth or two. 1.5 years of use was worth the money. I think it should take longer. I will not buy again. 2 stars. So far, so good. i really like it Over 2 months in the tank and it keeps my 34 gallon mixed reef temp within 1° +/- the 78° temp I set it to. I also like the digital controls on the cable. Recommended product.
