Works Great!: Aquarium Heater & Cooler

This is my second purchase of this type of heater. The first has been in use for several months and keeps the temperature stable. This new one works the same as the first one, so no problem. To switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit or vice versa, press and hold the Set button (hold it for 5 to 10 seconds).

Pros
  • Excellent Construction
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

This heater just doesn't work!

This heater does not work! Read other reviews and save yourself the hassle of returning it and waiting for a refund. I spent several hours moving the heater in my newly installed tank to fix the E1 error code that never goes away. In the process of returning and now my project is delayed. Very disappointed!

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Only available in black

Aquarium heater and cooler broke after 1 month

Not sure if I just got a bad one or bad quality overall. I've been using the product for a little over a month and the error code E7 started flashing. Not sure what it is as it is NOT listed in the product description. In my situation the heater gauge is hidden when diving, so the temp gauge on the heater itself is not ideal. Revain sent a new one, but in the meantime I've bought a Hygger 500W. costs more than double but is still worth the extra money, and the external controller is easy to…

Failed in less than 3 weeks.

Wanted! I have used other titanium heaters before but unfortunately they always fail me. I have a very active turtle and am too nervous to use glass heaters so I always use titanium. I bought this after my last heater went out and I loved the price! warmed up for 2 weeks. Unfortunately it stopped working and now my tank is cold again. It's been less than 1 month for me. Now when I turn it on it quickly climbs to the last 90° and then dies out with error code E2. The water is cold, the…

WHILE I LOVE IT

UPDATE: 1 year and 6 months in my pool and it only heats up to 74° and 75° I can still set the temperature on the device but it doesn't heat up to a higher level. When it worked, it held the temperature flawlessly at 77.5° +/- a tenth or two. 1.5 years of use was worth the money. I think it should take longer. I will not buy again. 2 stars. So far, so good. i really like it Over 2 months in the tank and it keeps my 34 gallon mixed reef temp within 1° +/- the 78° temp I set it to. I also like…

Accurate, holds up well so far

First review. I used to have a 1000w titanium heater on my 300g unit to maintain 82°F. Although the description doesn't say they weigh up to 150g each, I know that when combined with 1000w they have worked for me in the past. I put her in the water for 30 minutes to acclimate. Turned on and set to 80F. Tanks ramp smoothly from 72.5 to 80 F in about 5.5 hours. So far it's holding up well at 80.4. Not expensive, I would like a separate temperature display, in my application it is difficult to see

Works quick and easy to set up

UPDATE: I've had this heater since late March. After 8 months the heating stopped working and one fish died. I had to turn on the heater in my house to increase the temperature in the tank until I bought a new heater. 😡I got this for my new 60 gallon tank and have had it for a few weeks now. At first it heated up the tank fairly quickly and then heated up the tank very quickly as the temperature rose. I've attached a photo of the strip thermometer to show that one of them is off by 1 degree…

Very short cord but overall works well

Update 1: Due to the short cord I had to use a surge protector to connect this heater. I will say that although the heater only works for a few days, it works well and maintains a fairly accurate temperature in my 150 gallon aquarium. First review: I just received it. My rating does not yet refer to the quality of the item. However, I give 2 stars for the terrible design. It seems cheap and I have a serious issue with the length of the cord. This is a 500w heater, so it's obviously intended for

Pros

  • Definitely a bad product
