UPDATE: I've had this heater since late March. After 8 months the heating stopped working and one fish died. I had to turn on the heater in my house to increase the temperature in the tank until I bought a new heater. 😡I got this for my new 60 gallon tank and have had it for a few weeks now. At first it heated up the tank fairly quickly and then heated up the tank very quickly as the temperature rose. I've attached a photo of the strip thermometer to show that one of them is off by 1 degree which could be because the strip is outside the tank (on the glass) but they are both the same and that worries me . This digital heater/thermometer is better than the heated grips I have on my smaller tank. The knob regulator heater is never accurate and I don't have that problem with this digital one.
