First review. I used to have a 1000w titanium heater on my 300g unit to maintain 82°F. Although the description doesn't say they weigh up to 150g each, I know that when combined with 1000w they have worked for me in the past. I put her in the water for 30 minutes to acclimate. Turned on and set to 80F. Tanks ramp smoothly from 72.5 to 80 F in about 5.5 hours. So far it's holding up well at 80.4. Not expensive, I would like a separate temperature display, in my application it is difficult to see the set temperature when it overflows. Didn't like the instructions that said the heaters are a consumable item and need to be replaced every year? But at $38.00 everyone had no idea.
