So I bought it for hands-free use. I've spoken to other operators about this throat mic. The mic and connectors are solid and we're going to build. The design was intuitive enough for me to put on and attach various items to. Other operators reported that the audio was sharper and clearer than my handheld mic. PTT was pressure sensitive but did not cause random pickups. The built-in volume control was adjustable but not rigid. I would highly recommend this throat mic to anyone who needs hands free during use. The only complaint I have is that the length of the wiring may be too long. Although I see other settings taking advantage of the length. Very happy to buy this.
