For a Christmas present, I put a puzzle in a small gift bag along with a gift card for each of my employees. I'm sure they appreciated the gift card more, but the puzzles were great fun and sparked fun conversations as they designed and traded them. Some employees understood her immediately. Others took longer. They are durable so you can't "cheat" them into opening. They come in a nice box if you're gifting the set. The package rattles like a box of nails so it would be fun to wrap up and put under the tree to tease someone for a few days.
