Study and good height
This is a beautiful step stool. I have a tall step stool, but it's difficult to unfold and break to get something off a high shelf that's a bit out of reach. This stool makes a great addition to my kitchen instead of breaking out a big ladder. That's just the right amount to get to the back of my top shelves. It's very stable and durable, even for me as an overweight person, and was easy to put together. Looks way better than most step stools which is a nice bonus too!
