Review on πŸ”Š Audiolab 6000N: Cutting-Edge Wi-Fi Audio Streaming Player & Internet Tuner in Sleek Silver Design by Julio Rattanajatuphorn

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not worth the money, too many bugs.

When you subscribe to Revain Music HD, it doesn't work very well. I don't know how well it works with other services. The Play Fi software it works with has more bugs than a Florida swamp. The shuffle feature doesn't work, you can't add songs to a playlist, and it keeps freezing when streaming 24-bit 192kHz music. Okay, you may think that I have a slow Wi-Fi connection, but that's not true. I get 300 to 400 Mbps when I have this setup. I also have a laptop connected via the same Wi-Fi connection to a DAC in the same location that plays 24-bit tracks at 192kHz flawlessly. The problem is either in the 6000n or in the Play Fi software used. So definitely not worth the money. It's better to just use a laptop with a good DAC and save a lot of money.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
