
Must donate an old Lenovo ThinkPad that worked on Win7. I plugged the Destruct Pro key into the USB port, turned on the laptop and was immediately able to launch the program from the system BIOS. It couldn't be easier. I will add that I completely forgot the password from an unnecessary laptop. The first run lasted 1 hour. The second run lasted 17 hours. The third run also lasted 1 hour. over 24 hours on the first try. Good product! I see several negative reviews on this product because they couldn't get it to work. Remember that computers go through a startup sequence and then typically default to Windows or whatever operating system you're using. This means that Destruct Pro may not start automatically. You must access this initial boot sequence and only then will your computer boot from the Destruct USB stick instead of the operating system. I can understand the dissatisfaction with this product if you are unfamiliar with the requirements to access the system BIOS and how to do it. This is fairly easy to do though, so search the internet for the sequence you need for your particular computer before attempting to use the product.
