This is a high quality tableware. The bottom is hollow but still has some weight. The top is firm, fairly thick, and has some weight. The lower and upper parts are polished and have no rough edges. The logo is on the top and is quite small. I don't think it's that noticeable, but it would be nice if it were placed somewhere else. You'll need to cut a packet of butter in half to fit on a medium-sized plate, or snip about two tablespoons from two chopsticks. .Overall I am very satisfied with this dish and will buy another one for cream cheese.
