Review on Skywalker Trampolines Round Jump Mat by Keith Alvord

Better than the skybound mat

I bought this mat to replace the mat on my SWTC1500 Skywalker trampoline which has lasted 8 years. I originally bought the mat from Skybound, which was cheaper than Skywalker's replacement mat and had a longer warranty. However, on day one I returned the Skybound mat and purchased this Skywalker mat for the following reasons: 1. This Skybound mat was too small for my Skywalker trampoline. According to the seller it fits, but it doesn't. Skybound's steel D-rings are not made of hardened steel and are easy to disassemble. On this Skywalker blanket, the steel D-rings are thick. See photos of the D-rings on the new Skywalker blanket next to my old Skywalker blanket. They're almost the same thickness and seem strong so far.3. Hook installation tool included with Skybound mat that broke during installation. You don't even need any tools to install this skywalker mat.4. The mesh holes on my Skywalker trampoline did not line up with the D-rings on the Skybound mat. The spacing between the D-rings was not the same as my Skywalker mat. The D-rings are perfect for the mesh of this Skywalker mat. I just installed this Skywalker mat and have to say that although both mats are made in China (not very good), the Skywalker mat has much stronger steel D-rings and the overall seam quality and mat thickness is superior to the Skybound mat . And the mesh holes match the mesh perfectly. I will update my review after a few months of use. installation instructions. Pull the springs toward the frame, not the mat.
