If you're the kind of mom or grandma who loves to freaking step on Lego then this is a gift for your little girl. If you are a mother or grandmother who has a jewelry monaculum laying around at home, then this is a gift for your girl. If you're a mom or grandma who likes to spend more time figuring out how to open the different parts of a package than your girl would spend, then this is a gift for your girl. A total disappointment indeed. Bought for two 6 1/2 year old girls doing crafts and making friends. I thought it would be a great idea for them to make friendship bracelets. The packaging is terrible. I would try to explain but at one point I seriously considered tearing it up with my teeth - it's that bad. And finally we opened it up and then took a broom and a dustpan to sweep up the beads that were flying and flying and popping all over the place. The girls sat down to weave a bracelet, but the beads are tiny and difficult to thread - they made 3 bracelets (between two). Each had no more than 5 pearls. No and again no. I do not recommend this product.
