I've been with OtterBox since 2013 when I had a Samsung Galaxy S3. When I switched to the iPhone 6s plus for a year, OtterBox offered protection as good as ever. I have to be honest, the "screen protector" that the OtterBox defenders provided for their previous phones was never something I liked or considered protective. That being said, the fact that this X and XS version of Defender doesn't have a screen has to be one of my favorite features. I definitely always carry a glass screen protector with me, so the lack of a display suits me much better. There is no longer the problem that items on the home screen cannot be tapped because there is a screen protector on them. In addition, the case offers excellent protection. I think I'll drop my phone if that happens due to the layers of protection and padding on the back of the hard inner case. I definitely recommend buying this case as you get excellent protection wherever you go.
