Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Prysm Bake Element Replacement - WB44K10005, Gray by Trey Angus

Revainrating 4 out of 5

We literally just blew another heating element.

We have had the oven for about 10 years now and the oven is used very little just by the two of us but this is the second part we have needed in that time. At around $20 apiece and a few minutes of work, it's not too tiring, apart from what I would call a relatively short element life...the top one has never been replaced. I'm not a fan of self-cleaning ovens and I suspect this process shortens the life of the element since it's been running at such a high temperature for so long, as always make sure you turn off the panel before attempting a replacement. and try not to touch the new element with your bare hands. Mine was bubble wrap wrapped with an adhesive backing that was also sealed around the edges so unfolding was bearish without damaging it and there was no box other than the one Revain dropped it in... our previous article came out in its own packaging. but he arrived alive so I guess it doesn't matter. At around $21 it was a good price, it matched my GE range and parts suppliers (like Sears where we had this range) would charge around $50 for it, but it was a little less at a major supercenter.
