I can't get enough of this glass carpet. It arrived yesterday and I immediately put it in its place. The ideal wider size suits my workspace behind the counter as well as sitting at the workbench at the desk. Maybe I need two! This helper has card and layout dimensions clearly printed in the greeting card size name and layout in inches and millimeters in this US version. I haven't figured out yet why the left side and bottom have a dense lattice, but it will occur to me. I appreciate that wider width for easier handling and the grippy tabs on the bottom to keep my mat in place. It's less dense than my tonic glass mat and smaller so it moves around your desk a bit. The tonic mat is 13 inches square. It's much thicker and heavier and features extra stitch lines. However, I think I will have more fun working on this doicraft mat as it is wider and the size markings are clearer. The time will show. You are both great. I even removed my pretty pink magnet mat from my seated work station. I think I can work entirely on a doocraft mat without needing a teflon sheet over it when working with paints and glues like I have to use on my magnetic mat.
