Must have for those who train their dogs

Excellent quality. Highly recommended if you want to properly train your hunting dog. Haven't used much in the field but I think this will stand the test of time. I will update the review if I encounter any issues. Edit: After about 2.5 years of light use. 3 or 4 hunts and daily walks around the block. A few days ago I went swimming with my dog at a nearby creek. When I came back the collar was not charging. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that one of the lightweight plastic covers at the bottom of the collar was missing, leaving a hole in the device for water to seep through. (see photo) I called Garmin support, they billed my CC $80 and I have to send it in to them for a repair or refurb first. Once they receive it, they will send out a replacement within about 10 days. I asked if they could send me a replacement and then I sent the broken unit back to expedite the repair and they said that would double the price to $160. Also, I have to pay shipping to Garmin and they will pay for the return shipping. I am a bit disappointed with the durability of this product. I expected this contraption to last many years before I had to bother with repairs.
