By far the best training collar you can buy. We bought others that were rubbish, you couldn't even walk on them in the rain, and they stopped working. Garman manufactures products of the highest quality.

Love this for Schutzhund. Please inform yourself about the correct use. This is a professional grade collar that if NOT used correctly can provide enough stimuli to break a dog's spirit. I like the added protection when he's off leash. I find it difficult to maneuver the controller without looking. I hope I'm better, I pushed the switches without knowing it

I replaced my old Tritronics Flyway system after running out of collar batteries. Now that Garmin owns the company, it's no surprise that the two systems are similar. Both great units. The battery life is better with the new system and the range also seems to be better. I also like the new charging system better than the old one. Very happy with this system.

I'm talking about the collar itself not the device. You'd think that paying that amount per unit would at least get you a decent collar, like the ones before Garmin bought the company. If you buy a blue collar that's fine, but the black that goes with it is GARBAGE. Look carefully at the picture. Has anyone seen a buckle like this? The device itself is great.

I bought it because the trainer recommended it for durability. That works great. I was hesitant due to the size of the controller and that's the problem for me. It doesn't fit in my pocket so I keep putting it in and forgetting where I put it. I also want something waterproof, not waterproof. I certainly can't beat it for performance and durability! I ordered fanny packs to carry the controller because women's clothing is not known for pockets!

I have been training working dogs for over a decade and have used many e-collars. I love the design and function of this device, but it just couldn't measure up. My dog left some superficial bite marks on the collar when the strap broke and the collar came loose. I untied the harness with a bungee and the collar worked fine for a few more weeks and then stopped. It beeps but no longer stimulates. Nothing in the collar looks put together or broken. I made the decision from the start to only use the kick function when absolutely necessary. First I make a sound (beep function), then I move on to vibration. I have found that these traits alone can go a long way when training our two Pitbull/Husky mix dogs. The only thing I would like to change is that the "V" for vibration is set by setting the intensity scale to zero. The dial shows v1234. Excellent quality. Highly recommended if you want to properly train your hunting dog. Haven't used much in the field but I think this will stand the test of time.
