I have a steam cleaner and I remove dog litter when it happens. This works well, but because the animal has bladder cancer, the smell of urine is overpowering. The steam cleaner tends to get rid of odors even after you clean it after the car is about 3 months old. So I used slip and vacuum powder before and after steam cleaning when the carpet was dry. Most newly built homes smelled nice for a few hours and the smell returned immediately. This product was completely different in a very good way. I dusted it with powder and left it overnight and vacuumed it in the morning. A week later, the house and carpet still smell fresh. I'm glad I bought two bottles and plan to buy it again. PS: Do not use as much as private label, this product does not require it.
