Mr. Tuffy Ultra Lite Bike Tires This was one of the best purchases I've made for my bike. They're light (just over 50 grams each) and I didn't notice any extra rolling resistance on a Trek Hybrid bike with Maxis Larsen TT tires. I usually ride a lot on the trails of the forest reserve, where I've experienced several flats during the summer ski season. I was lucky enough to ride 500 miles without a flat tire. I installed them in the first half of May and since October 5th I have not had an apartment. That's just under 2,000 miles, which is unprecedented. Installation is easy and the ribbed design prevents the liners from sliding from side to side in the tire. I would highly recommend them over spike proof tubes which add so much weight that the ride becomes very uncomfortable.
