Our twins are almost 10-12 years old, slim built. We bought them as a next step, 14-16, and it was too big of a jump. He won't adjust them for at least another year. In terms of length, they almost match their 5ft 7in mother. Although the description says 'Cargo' I assumed the fabric to be a bit looser due to the fit, but it's still quite stiff. Maybe a few washes will loosen up. All in all a good look for school or social events but not the casual attire we were hoping for around the house.
