Review on 📱 Garmin Nüvi 2457LMT 4.3-Inch Portable Vehicle GPS with Lifetime Maps and Traffic (No Longer Produced) by Mason Gordon

My second best handheld GPS nuvi

This is my second nuvi, first being the original 350. A plus for me would be the Lane Assist feature to make sure I'm where I need to be. when driving at intersections. I really wish google maps/navigation had this feature. I wasn't sure I would find traffic alerts very useful since I live in a small town, but they helped me stay sane when driving in big cities. Maybe one day I'll be able to use the rerouting feature when I'm stuck in traffic. The software interface is easy to navigate and the voice prompts are clear and easy to understand. I also like the app overlays that appear on the right side of the screen. Make it easier to find nearby gas stations and restaurants when traveling into the unknown while driving by changing the screen brightness and voice command volume. The battery life on the charger is pretty good. If you want to use the nüvi this way, set the option to turn on the screen only when you rotate it. The screen can eat up battery power for several hours. My years of experience with a Garmin product has always been positive. Other reviewers might tell you they know routes better and faster than GPS, but if you know your way, why use it? GPS is essential for journeys into the unknown, and Garmin is a leader in GPS mapping, so trust this device. The only thing is, if there is no bridge and there are detour signs on your way, follow the detour to avoid ending up in the river or going off the mountainside. Oh no. Here's a minus compared to my old nuvi. I'm missing the "thing" in front of the voice prompt.
