I did a 5 mile test ride without cycling shorts and felt a definite difference compared to the original seat. The next day I rode eight miles without cycling shorts and it was good. I appreciated how well my sit bones fit in this seat and how well my privates sit or sit in this seat without squeezing or squeezing it without the bike shorts. I would highly recommend these shorts for both male and female cyclists. Excellent crotch protection. In case you didn't know, the reproductive circulatory system is the same in both men and women.
