Good quality, easy to install kayak stern light

A group of kayakers that I am part of have started organizing local moonlight rowing trips to escape the summer heat. These trips take place on a local river and require bow/stern lights for night rowing in order to participate. After looking at many taillights, I bought the Kayalu Kayalite because of the ease of installation, operation, and quality. Canoes and kayaks normally sail during the day and I don't need a permanent bow/stern light. Also, I didn't want to drill holes in my boat to attach lights. The Kayalu Kayalite is battery operated (comes with batteries installed) and uses a "secure attach" system, which consists of a clip and cord instead of a suction cup. Attach the light to the kayak's deck rigging, pull the bungee cord taut and tie it to the base of the light and the knot is securely tied to the kayak. Rotate the lens clockwise and the light will turn on. Turn counterclockwise and the light will go out. The lantern is 18 inches tall when deck mounted and stands stable (it won't fall). Because of the chalk line, the lantern will not break if it comes into contact with a branch or other object. Base. Due to the breaking clamp, it will not fall, sink or float away. Priced at $49, it's not the cheapest standalone stern kayak light you can buy. When quality, ease of installation and operation are important, this light offers excellent value for money.
