Very poor quality gasket! I've been a mechanic for many years and I've never seen a new gasket leak like that from anywhere in a matter of months. Did a smoke test to make sure the valve cover wasn't cracked - all fine. I checked the surface of the engine and the valve cover to make sure it's not deformed - all fine. Conclusion - a terrible product! I bought the original gasket for only $10 more and it works great! See appendix if you need more persuasion.
