This item, when working properly, has a cheap pressure gauge that didn't survive my trip. When I opened this package, the manometer needle fell into the glass lid. Thank goodness I bought two of these and was able to get the job done and measure the water pressure with an intact gauge. Also, the threads on the unit required the use of very thick Teflon tape as the connections leaked, and I had to cut and solder the copper tubing together several times before the threaded connections stopped leaking.
