It is made of solid steel and wood. Excellent materials
They have a solid construction. They are loosened up a bit by the screws they bring with them. It's not a super tight fit. But with a bit of tape to make the wood fit snugly in the holes, everything is perfect. It takes painstaking work to put it together. I am very happy with my purchase. I made them safe and they are heavy and sturdy. I've made them a part of my daily workout. Completely stable with little work.
