These were a little sheer, as one would expect. I wanted more thickness so I doubled them, but I could have used them single thickness. I’ve certainly used thinner plastic table cloths! These are MUCH NICER than those I’ve bought at my local $ store. The color in the pics is the gold, which was more of antique gold, and passed almost of a "Kraft brown” color. They have a pleasant "woven” texture to them, not flat like a trash bag. They worked great on our 8’ tables. And at the end of the evening it was super easy to roll them up and toss.
