Excellent Quality. I also use mine to aerate beehives like many of you. Big in the sense that it's big enough to let a decent amount of air flow through, but small enough to keep out bees, wasps, and most other medium to large insects. For those concerned about the lead warning, this is the standard California Law 65 warning that they are currently posting everywhere and on everything. He may have started out with good intentions, but got carried away. The item I received was of high quality. A square pattern looks the same in everything. Looks sturdy but is easy to cut with a good pair of scissors.
