I wouldn't recommend
I had to use zip ties to hold it together because the clips holding the side pieces wouldn't hold together because the framing of the pieces was too big to fit in the clip slots. The sides are short too. My dog could slide over the seat and side of the car if the sides were up and could jump over them if they were moved down to prevent him going through the bottom gap. I don't have an SUV that is too big (98 Explorer) and this one was too small for it.
