I like that it's a set of 2. A leaky diaper? I can take the whole pad off to wash and put on another one, so it's definitely good to have a spare. I don't know why I didn't have a surrogate with previous kids! I used to put a beach towel under my sheet when I didn't have time to wash before bed or before bed. Well made pads that fit standard size crib mattresses. Good quality, waterproof. I'm not entirely sure I believe a "waterproof" pad (adult OR child) is breathable as long as it's also waterproof, but a baby doesn't wake up wet from sweat, so at least it absorbs moisture. We had a diaper leak or two and these inserts really protect the mattress underneath. Good quality. recommended.
