Microphone problems

I would really like this product if the microphone worked. He barely hears my voice, and what you're hearing sounds awful. Just a lot of static. My webcam microphone works 100 times better. Tried on two different computers. It didn't work at all on my laptop and wasn't of the quality I would expect from my desktop. I'm really frustrated because I've always loved Creative's products and I've never had a problem. But I think this one should come back.
