I love this scale! When I first bought a calorie tracking scale (not this one) I didn't really care which I chose as all scales only weigh. It wasn't until I got this that I realized how important design really is. This scale is made of metal and has a smooth top, making it very easy to wipe clean after weighing sauces and powders. It's also digital with a backlit display, so it's easy to read if you're weighing food on a large plate and need to look under the plate to record the weight (my old scale didn't have a backlight). Also, unlike my previous scale, this one has units in pounds as well as kilograms (along with grams and ounces), which is an added bonus for me as I live in the US but travel a lot (pre-pandemic); Sometimes I buy overseas products that don't have imperial units in their nutritional information. Overall I think this is a great buy if you are looking for an all in one scale that is definitely worth checking out.
