Review on Phanteks PH EC360ATG_DBK01 Ultra Fine Performance Digital RGB by Emmanuel Chouinard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really cool case. Excellent thermals. Excellent performance. Not huge.

So I had a 2014 H440 case and a 280mm Corsair cooler. It's time for an upgrade. I wanted a p400, but on the 3080 I don't really need a front cooler. I almost bought the p500 but it's huge and out of stock. I was really hesitant to buy the P360a because regular gamers (gamers mostly) never considered it. But sitting between the P400 and the 500 as it's relatively new, I decided to give it a try. Well, I received the case and after about 1 hour I was very satisfied with the result. Very easy to manage the cable, there is a place where you need it. But it's not massive, so you have to play smart. Especially if you install a 240 mm cooler at the top. I rode the Artic II which is very muscular. Everything that needed to be connected to the top of the motherboard had to be connected before the cooler could be connected. Temperatures are pretty good right out of the box. I haven't installed the rear fan yet and set the front fans to 50%. After 3 hours of gaming in a fairly warm room (24C) my system temp stayed cool, the 3080 FE never went above 75 and the CPU never went above 65. I'll probably put a fan in the back to relieve the fatigue, but this is by no means necessary. Edit: Threw a 3090 FE and an exhaust fan in the back. Nothing goes above 65c. Damn cool! I don't really like RGB, but the spotlights are cool. It's easy to turn it off when it's not your jazz. I will definitely recommend this case.
