After reading all the reviews on this product I decided to try my apron behind the sink. I was a bit worried at first because everyone said that once he got stuck he couldn't adjust anymore! The main thing is not to rush to measure and level before removing the base. Once I decided it was right I just removed sections of the backing and glued it in place. Just as you slowly remove the backing of contact paper. I'm thrilled with the results. It took me 2 1/2 hours in total, moving slowly but surely. The thickness of the product is similar to that of linoleum tiles. They have some texture that gives them a more realistic look than rough tiles. Use sharp scissors or a utility knife to get a clean cut. Definitely recommend an inexpensive but beautiful DIY apron.
