Beautiful kitchen splashback

VERY sticky! Make sure you attach it firmly as you can't move it when it's on. I bought the correct sealer to fill in all the gaps and it worked great! The backing is easier to remove with a straight needle. It is best to take off a little at a time, and then stick it on the wall, peeling off the residue while pressing down. To cut the tile I made a deep line with a utility knife, then cracked the tile with needle nose pliers and cut the glue with a utility knife. Looks really good but it took…

Will stand the test of time

This apron is everything I hoped for! Looks great, but installation was a little harder than I expected. The dimensions in my kitchen are strange, so I had to redo a lot. It is very thick and cannot be cut with ordinary scissors. I also tried a heavy utility knife, but that didn't work either. I got some heavy duty scissors for Christmas and it worked. It sticks fast. So if it needs to be cut, make sure the tile fits before removing the backing. The installation took a lot longer than I…

looks great! in Building Materials

After reading all the reviews on this product I decided to try my apron behind the sink. I was a bit worried at first because everyone said that once he got stuck he couldn't adjust anymore! The main thing is not to rush to measure and level before removing the base. Once I decided it was right I just removed sections of the backing and glued it in place. Just as you slowly remove the backing of contact paper. I'm thrilled with the results. It took me 2 1/2 hours in total, moving slowly but…

Excellent goods! - Building Materials

I bought this item based on the reviews I had read. It was exactly as the great reviews said. Very good quality, easy to install, peel and stick. The ratings are correct, once grabbed, it stays! Scissors cut easily. When I needed to cut out the entire switch, I measured and drew the square of the socket, then drilled a hole in the part I needed to cut out with a drill. This made it much easier to use knives to cut the square. That was good advice: measure the square footage required, then make…

DIY for pennies!: Tile

I ordered an ecru sample first and was very happy with the quality. The tile is textured and thick, but I was able to cut it with scissors (heavy duty scissors work best). Color variations: cream, brown, tan and a shade of gray. Great for any neutral palette, although I would suggest browns and creams are best. The back of the tile is covered in red peelable plastic revealing a 3m thick white sticky base, no grouting required! It comes with an offset of 4 lines per sheet. The tiles "bend" over…

Great tile stick

After spending many dollars on samples from various tile stick manufacturers, our favorite is the Yipscazo Ecru Slate Backsplash Stone Tile. All of the other tile decal samples we ordered mostly looked cheap and not durable. We use our kitchen area and wanted a tile that could take a little abuse and clean well. Another plus is that I wanted a tile that could be removed if I wanted to without having to replace the wall behind it. To test the product, I glued a sample to a piece of wall panel…
