Inaccurate, cable too short, 2 bad sensors.

2 sensors give a constant display when nothing is nearby, the sensor cables are too short, I have a Yukon, a sensor in the front and one in the back barely reaches the control box, so when installed a yukon xl or suburb, I'm almost certain they won't catch up. It's not accurate, I can put my hand on the sensors and they work, but then I drive somewhere and they never show anything?
