Review on MaintSmart CMMS by Joel Singh

Great features at an affordable price range

We used Maintenance Smart to keep track of our housework during the summer vacation. My husband and I had purchased tickets for Disney World. However, after spending most of the money for the park visits and meals, we came home broke. After talking about ways to save money and coming up empty, my husband began using Work Orders Pro. Now, we have a monthly allotment to spend toward household projects. Some days, we meet a need before the week is over; others, we have funds available for additional products. This simple program meets our basic needs, allowing us to look forward to fun times without wasting away our savings account. The interface is quick and easy to navigate, offering both novice and veteran computer users similar tools within the same platform. My husband is now doing laundry, vacuuming floors, unclogging drains, cleaning windows, and painting doors while also updating his list of repairs due soon. Thanks again for creating such a functional application!

I found this program much better than another product I looked at because its built into Microsoft Office rather than standalone. This means if there was an issue with functionality within Excel it usually fixes itself automatically when opening the template file from outside MS Office. It includes both graphical capabilities for creating and organizing documents but also allows the user to create and save files that are compatible with almost any word processor, spreadsheet application, graphics program, database developer, etc. Other applications do not include support for many of the formats used in conjunction with the above programs. I believe that many businesses today cannot afford to go without office productivity software and the majority of small businesses do not have room in their budget/office space for separate productivity suites. As far as pricing goes, I feel like it offers products that fit most budgets yet still offer powerful features. Its easy to master and start using right away. This makes it very useful for beginners as well professional users.

Great features at an affordable price range for all those small or medium sized organizations that need to keep track of multiple projects without having to hire additional staff. I particularly liked the ability to add attachments to forms & files within document management and also be notified when records are changed or added, as opposed to a client having to contact me via message asking me if things have changed since last time i checked. This saves a massive amount of time whilst maintaining a centralised database across clients of course. Additionally, the interface for creating schedules & milestones was simple and intuitive making the creation of new projects easy and straightforward.

One great feature about Work Orders is that you can create new ones without needing to first create an account. After creating a work order using the add button on maint smarts page you can save into your profile later on then when you come back later you can just continue on from your saved template. This means that anyone who needs a work order template doesn’t have to go through the hassle of making one. If its ever down or out during scheduled maintenance they don’t also have to start over again. Another nice feature after you finish building your work order, it generates a printable receipt that shows all components, labor hours, overtime, parts supplied, and cost information with links to any applicable invoices. Even though you might think a $1000 invoice for a water heater is expensive the amount actually billed is often much higher since many products are sold under warranty. So, keeping track of receipts can cut down costs considerably. You can easily generate all sorts of reports including profit and loss, production trends and other things.
