My old expensive phone holder broke, insufficient ball joint design. I was never happy with it, it had to be constantly adjusted as the phone's weight tilted it forward or backward. Also, the phone would sometimes slip out of the grip and dangle from the rubber. I was hesitant at first but after using this holder for !20 hours of cycling I am very satisfied. Lightweight, durable, convenient access to the fingerprint sensor, does not interfere with the volume and does not accidentally turn the steering wheel. Just remove the phone or set it up to download.
