Get the job done with a direct USB connection

I mainly wanted this as a backup as our bunnies like to chew on wires. This one comes with a dock/stretch as shown in the photos, but when I set it up like this, every 30 seconds or so the USB handshake resets and then reconnects. So I was treated to a symphony of USB disconnect and reconnect noises, and it dropped my Wi-Fi connection every time. Not sure if this particular dock or cable is at fault or a design issue, but the antenna works fine when plugged directly into a USB port, good bandwidth and no more dropouts. As such, I would recommend it for this type of use, but I cannot guarantee your results if you must use an extension. YMMV.
