Broke during the filming of this review! I only used irons (2, 6, 8) so nothing that should hurt. Pretty disappointing but understandable given it's a cheap thin mat. The fibers were also shaved off fairly quickly in a half stroke, so they definitely won't last long. What it should do, it only shows the lawn ghost (arrows in image). You really only see damage on the mat, but very little turf. All information about the face of the club and the path was practically invisible. I tend to sweep the ball, but even with the rush almost nothing went. It may not be suitable for full swings as I could see the color change as I rolled the ball onto the mat. In this respect, it can be helpful to check whether your Clubloft is right for you. Pretty sophisticated, but definitely not for full hits. This may be due to longer fibers and a stiffer/thicker base. Both combine to make markings more visible and increase durability, which is a big issue here. The practice foam balls are a nice touch, but they'll eventually break after enough hits and splatter yellow bits all over the place. Edit: Yes, I reset the color of the mat before each swing. The way I was set up started out dark and the jiggling left a lighter trail, which reminds me to think mine might have been typed backwards. However, the changes were hardly noticeable.
