Works great for fasteners
Works great for replacing stripped threads in cast aluminum. High-quality workmanship and user-friendliness. I was a bit concerned that the original threads were only about 1/2 inch deep in the socket, so the inserts are longer than they should be. So far the repair is okay though - the excess length of the insert isn't really a problem and I was able to cut the installation tab off the back.
