I'm a hobby runner - I started running when I was starting to lose weight and now I run for my health and my pleasure. But recently I've also been doing cross and weight training at the gym and wanted something comfortable, light and flexible. I dared and they are exactly what I was looking for. The length and width are exactly what I expect from Skechers. In terms of fit, I prefer wide (not very wide) shoes from other brands, but these have a wide width and the upper is quite forgiving and stretches with the foot. I probably won't run long distances or races in them, they're too unstructured for me, but I have other shoes for that. But for a recovery run, casual walker, or athletic shoe, they're just great!
