The smallest needles are very easy to lose

Use these needles to permanently lock a rope splice. Unfortunately, it is necessary to use a thread with a diameter of the braid of the rope. I bought a needle with a large eye at a craft store. Interestingly, these needles are slightly magnetic. They hold together. When I pulled the big one out, the smallest needle often imperceptibly hugged until it "clicked" as it hit the floor. They are very, very sharp, as my fingers attest.
